12 Days of Giving

As 2021 comes to an end, we want to thank all our supporters and donors for your kindness and support. We are not able to help serve our teens without the help of our donors.

Join us for the 12 Days of Giving Campaign to end the year as we continue to Give the Gift of Hope to our teens! Each day we will highlight our programs, needs, or an event coming up.

Day 1

On the first day of Christmas my community gave to me… $100 for a teen’s night of shelter.
Did you know the number of homeless youth is nearly four times larger than the number of homeless adults in NWA? Over 2,000 youth under the age of 18 are homeless. TASC provides resources to homeless teens and connects them to permanent housing solutions.

Day 2

On the second day of Christmas my community gave to me.. $75 for an All In for Teens event ticket!

Our biggest fundraiser of the year (All In) is coming up February 5 th and will be a one-of-a-kind Casino Game Night! Don’t miss this opportunity to support teens and have a great night doing so!

Day 3

On the third day of Christmas my community gave to me… $100 for therapeutic services for a teen.

Did you know since the pandemic, the need for counseling services has tripled? Restore is providing counseling sessions, support groups and grief services for teens in NWA on a daily basis.

Day 4

On the fourth day of Christmas my community gave to me … $50 for art supplies for art programming at TASC.

TASC offers weekly art projects that allow teens to express themselves and process emotions.

Day 5

On the fifth day of Christmas my community gave to me, $100 for parenting education classes and workshops.

TASC offers a variety of parenting classes and will soon offer other parenting resources for adults in our community!

Day 6

On the sixth day of Christmas my community gave to me, $100 for exposure to community events and networking with professionals for a teen.

TASC offers cultural and community events that teens can participate in to learn new skills, deepen their understanding of a topic, and connect to resources in the community through access to master artists, community spaces, and more!

Day 7

On the seventh day of Christmas my community gave to me, $100 for transportation to activities for one month for a teen.

TASC offers transportation if needed to activities, community service projects and events. We work hard to remove any barriers to accessing our services.

Day 8

On the eighth day of Christmas my community gave to me… $100 for community service projects for a teen.

TASC offers a variety of projects that provide teens with a space to give back to the community and themselves. Whether it’s taking care of a community garden at the Samaritan Center, rebuilding bikes at Pedal it Forward, volunteering at the food bank, or taking a spooky ghost hike these experiences help teens become better connected with themselves and in the community.

Day 9

On the ninth day of Christmas my community gave to me… $100 for a parenting teen to provide resources for their child.

TASC provides physical resources, education, and support groups for young parents to empower them in their educational, personal and parental endeavors.

Day 10

On the tenth day of Christmas my community gave to me, $250-$5,000 for an All In sponsorship.

Our All In event will be here before we know it and we are so excited! Sponsors for the All-In event allow us to put dollars directly back into our services so we can continue to empower teens in NWA.

Day 11

On the eleventh day of Christmas my community gave to me… $100 for hygiene and personal care items for a teen.

TASC provides needed resources for teens all year round. Whether a teen needs hygiene products, school supplies, clothing, or gifts for the holidays we try to make sure they have access to the resources they need.

Day 12

On the twelfth day of Christmas my community gave to me, $100 for snacks for teens after school.

TASC offers snacks and drinks for teens at each of our sites so that no one has to worry about being hungry while participating in activities, events, or during a counseling session. We also have food boxes available at each of our sites donated from the NWA Food Bank!

As always, we thank you for the love and support this year. We are looking forward to 2022 to continue to grow in our community to better serve are teens.

Thank you and Merry Christmas,

The Teen Action & Support Center Staff and Board
